"Guidance blocks" are blocks designed for visually impaired individuals that comply with JIS standards. There are two types: "linear blocks," which consist of lines arranged in a straight line to indicate direction, and "point blocks," used for position indication at corners and starting/ending points, both available in standard and permeable types. Additionally, for general roads, we recommend the permeable type, which is less slippery when wet, and the standard type for vehicle access areas. Recently, these blocks have been installed not only on train station platforms and in public facilities but also on crosswalks and roadways. They provide comfortable and safe walking for everyone. The resin-based dot and guiding markers developed by our company can be easily attached by just making holes in tile carpets or vinyl tiles. There is no need to drill holes in concrete as with conventional installations, and there is no step difference with the surrounding carpet where the markers are not installed. Adopting high-strength engineering plastics, it exhibits outstanding durability even under harsh conditions.
